I’ve started collecting screen references and roughing out the first design pass for a screen-inspired belt charge. The goal is a compact, swappable unit with lights, sound, and multiple modes, triggered by a magnetic activator. The render shows the current outer shell concept and button profile.
- Self-contained belt charge module
- Magnetic activation for quick on/off
- Multiple audio modes with matching light behavior

Screen References I’m Studying
- S1 E3 Chapter 3: The Sin (20:00) – Rescue sequence, used during the escape
- S1 E4 Chapter 4: Sanctuary (29:00) – Village defense, mini AT explosion, urgent tones
- S1 E8 Chapter 8: Redemption (30:42) – Restocking with the Armorer
- S1 E8 Chapter 8: Redemption (38:57) – Fight with Moff Gideon, Tie fighter hit, fast windup
- S2 E2 Chapter 10: The Passenger (28:51) – All three used against the spiders, countdown tones and light sequence
- S2 E3 Chapter 11: The Heiress (20:35, 25:33) – Thrown down a corridor at stormtroopers, fast count-up feel
- S2 E5 Chapter 13: The Jedi (15:22) – Close-up while walking with Grogu
- S2 E6 Chapter 14: The Tragedy – Dropped from above during the fight to protect Grogu, countdown tone
- S3 E1 Chapter 17: The Apostate (5:18) – Clan battle with the large creature, urgent beeping
Audio/Light Modes (first pass)
- Countdown tones – Notes ascend with a short pause between chords
- Urgent beeping – High-pitched chirp at a steady rate
- Fast windup – Tone starts low and rises quickly in frequency
Current Status
- CAD shell concept and proportions underway
- Reference log built from key scenes and timecodes
- Mode definitions drafted to guide sound design and LED behavior
What’s Next
- Prototype the speaker cavity and venting for clear tones at small size
- Test magnetics, belt retention, and quick placement on metal
Questions for You
- Weathering level: fresh off the bench or field-worn?
- Any other scenes I should add to the reference list?
If you want to follow along or vote on features, drop a comment with your preferences. I’ll share test clips of the light and audio modes once the first prototype is running.
