License Agreement

Effective Date: December 1, 2024

By purchasing, accessing, or using the digital files, models, firmware, and documentation, videos, images, and related resources (“Materials”) provided by Foxhead Workshop (“Licensor”), you (“Licensee”) agree to be bound by this License Agreement (“Agreement”).

1. Grant of License

Foxhead Workshop grants the Licensee a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license for personal use only.

You may:

  • Download, reproduce, modify, and use the Materials to build physical replicas solely for personal, non-commercial use (cosplay, personal display, hobby purposes)
  • Modify and customize the Materials for personal use
  • Display and showcase the completed prop publicly, with credit appreciated (e.g., “Design by Foxhead Workshop”)

You may not:

  • Sell, rent, redistribute, or share the Materials (original or modified) digitally or physically
  • Use the Materials or any props derived from them for commercial purposes or monetary gain
  • Upload or publicly share the Materials (including on file-sharing sites, forums, or social media)
  • Remove or alter watermarks, logos, or attribution embedded in the Materials

2. Intellectual Property & Disclaimer of Affiliation

The Gauntlet Dart Module is a fan-created artistic tribute inspired by the “Whistling Birds” from The Mandalorian. This product is not affiliated with or endorsed by Disney, Lucasfilm Ltd., LucasArts, Star Wars, or any related subsidiaries or affiliates. Star Wars and The Mandalorian trademarks and copyrights are owned exclusively by Disney and Lucasfilm Ltd.

Foxhead Workshop owns all intellectual property rights to the original Materials provided. Licensee does not gain any ownership rights in the Materials through this Agreement.

3. Safety Disclaimer

The Materials involve electronic components, batteries, and wearable parts which inherently carry safety risks:

  • Electronic hazards: Risk of overheating, fire, battery malfunction, or electrical shock
  • Wearable device risks: Potential skin irritation, burns, or mechanical injury

Licensee agrees to exercise caution, follow provided instructions, and accept full responsibility for safe assembly, testing, and operation of the completed prop. Foxhead Workshop provides the Materials “as is” without any warranties or guarantees of safety, performance, or results.

4. No Refund Policy

All sales of digital Materials are final. Due to their digital nature, Foxhead Workshop does not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges once Materials have been accessed or downloaded.

5. Commercial Use Restrictions

The Materials are licensed for personal use only. You may not:

  • Sell, resell, or offer for sale any printed objects or derivatives
  • Use the Materials for any commercial or business purposes
  • Distribute or share the digital files with others
  • Create derivative works for commercial purposes

6. Limitation of Liability

Foxhead Workshop’s total liability under this Agreement is strictly limited to the purchase price of the Materials. Foxhead Workshop is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages including, without limitation, lost profits, personal injury, property damage, or project failure arising from the use or inability to use the Materials.

7. Indemnification

Licensee agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Foxhead Workshop against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from: use, modification, or misuse of the Materials; personal injury, property damage, or third-party claims arising from the Licensee’s completed prop; or Licensee’s breach of any terms of this Agreement.

8. DMCA Compliance

Foxhead Workshop respects intellectual property rights and complies with the DMCA. To report copyright infringement, contact contact@foxheadworkshop.com

9. Changes and Termination

Foxhead Workshop reserves the right to update or terminate this Agreement at any time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance. If this Agreement is terminated due to Licensee’s breach, Licensee must immediately cease all use and distribution of the Materials.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed under the laws of Virginia, USA. Any legal disputes shall be resolved exclusively within the courts of Virginia, USA.

Licensee acknowledges they have read, understood, and agree to all terms of this Agreement by purchasing, accessing, or using the Materials.
