The Armorer

The Armorer keeps the forge for the covert on Nevarro. Where Din's kit is plain beskar plate, hers is built around the gold-horned helm, the fur mantle, and the hammer and tongs she carries in place of a blaster.

Armor Finishing Guide: Raw 3D Print to Bare Metal & Beyond

How we take a raw print to a bare-metal finish: smoothing away the print lines, paint, and two paths to chrome.

    Slicer Settings for Cosplay

    Orientation, supports, and the slicer settings that save hours of post-processing. A clean print is the cheapest smoothing you will ever do.

    Strip supports without scarring, join multi-part prints, fill the seams, and scuff for adhesion. The part comes out primer-ready.

    Maintenance & Care

    Sealing, handling, and field repairs so the finish survives conventions.

Optional step Mirror Polish — Between paint and chrome, wet-sand and compound the clear to a true mirror. Skippable, but the deepest chrome starts from a mirror.
