About the app
Foxhead Workshop Search Console Feed is a private internal analytics tool operated by Foxhead Workshop for internal business analytics. It retrieves Google Search Console performance data for foxheadworkshop.com and writes reports to a dedicated private Google Sheet. The purpose is to understand the website’s search visibility and support Foxhead Workshop’s analysis, including analysis by an authorized OpenAI assistant.
The collector runs as a Google Apps Script attached to that Sheet. The collector is configured to refresh its reports daily. Scheduled collection can be interrupted by authorization changes, service availability or API limits. It is not a customer sign-in service or a public app.

Permissions and information collected
The app requests three Google permissions:
- Read-only Search Console access to retrieve performance reports. The permission can cover other Search Console properties accessible to the authorizing account; the current code requests only foxheadworkshop.com.
- External requests so Apps Script can call the Google Search Console API.
- Access to the current spreadsheet so the app can read and write its reports in the dedicated workbook. This is not permission to read every spreadsheet in the account.
Reports contain dates, clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average search position. Separate detail reports contain search query text or page URLs, with those metrics. The app also stores collection timestamps, report coverage, row counts, filtering counts and refresh status. It requests finalized web-search data, using Search Console’s Pacific-time dates.
Before writing details to the Sheet, the code omits rows matching certain identifier patterns and excludes page URLs with query strings, fragments or specified account-related paths. These filters are imperfect. Retained query text and page URLs may still contain personal information; the reports are not guaranteed to be anonymous.
Storage and access
Google hosts the script and spreadsheet in the owner’s Google account. Google manages authorization. The script obtains an access token during execution to call the API; it does not copy tokens into the spreadsheet or save them in the source code or script properties. Custom API error messages withhold response bodies, tokens, query text and URLs.
Access is limited to authorized Foxhead Workshop personnel and approved service providers acting on its behalf. The owner’s authorized OpenAI assistant can read the Sheet through the owner’s Google Drive connection to support Foxhead Workshop’s analysis. This wording does not grant personnel access or change permissions. This is a separate access route from the collector’s Google permissions: the collector itself sends its API requests to Google, not to OpenAI.
The owner confirms that his OpenAI and Claude controls are configured to disable training and data reuse. These are owner-reported settings, not independently verified provider guarantees, and they do not establish zero retention or no storage. The current workflow includes authorized OpenAI analysis; mentioning Claude’s settings does not mean this collector sends data to Claude. Service retention remains subject to applicable terms and settings.
Retention and removal
Daily aggregate history has no automatic expiry and remains until the owner deletes it. Each successful refresh replaces the query and page detail reports with up to the latest seven returned finalized dates within a ten-day lookback. This is refresh-based replacement, not a guarantee of deletion after seven calendar days. If collection stops, existing data remains.
The owner can revoke the collector’s Google permissions, remove the assistant’s connected access, and delete the spreadsheet and script. Revoking access prevents future authorized retrieval but does not itself erase existing reports or copies already processed elsewhere. Service history, backups and independently retained copies are subject to the relevant service’s controls and retention rules.
Google data use commitment
Foxhead Workshop Search Console Feed will follow the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements, when using or transferring Google API data. Its intended use is the internal business reporting and authorized analysis described above, not advertising, resale or credit decisions.
This commitment is not a claim that Google has verified or approved the app.
Usage terms
Use this collector only for authorized internal analysis of Foxhead Workshop’s Search Console property. It does not change website content or Search Console settings.
Reports depend on Google’s data availability and API limits. Query and page detail may omit rows and must not be treated as complete datasets. Use the daily report for property totals; separate detail reports are not additive. Refresh failures can leave old or partially updated reports, so use a generation only when its status is SUCCESS and check its collection time.
These terms apply only to this Search Console collector. They do not replace the store’s customer policies or cover the separate GA4 feed or future integrations. New data sources, purposes or access arrangements need their own review and updated disclosures before use.
