The mechanism

Screen-accurate. Make it yours.

Three articulating rows

Beskar tips extend, light, and retract in screen-matched sequence.

12 RGB LEDs

An addressable LED in every dart tip simulates each shot — and every color is yours to change.

Gesture controls

Arm with the hand-plate magnet, then fire with wrist motion alone. No buttons, no remote.

Firing modes

Fire on a tilt, fire on a shake — or flip the safety, which disables firing so you can pose and walk around with the lights on.

Sound effects

Firing and arming effects from an onboard speaker, with volume control built in.

Battery monitoring

The module watches its own LiPo — no guessing at the charge. 6–8 hours of continuous use on the recommended 500 mAh.

Idle animations

The base animation whenever the unit is armed — personalized options bring it to life.

Firmware updates included

New sequences, new modes, refinements from the workshop — flash them over USB for the life of the module.

The fit

Check before you order

Will it fit your gauntlet?

Universal fit. Print at 100% — one size fits most.

“One does not speak unless one knows.” — measure before you order.

  • Larger scales supportedTrim and shape the fiber optics to your nozzle holes with gentle heat — a hot cup of water or a hair dryer.
  • Mirrored gauntlets work tooThe module fits mirrored prints the same way — no left-or-right limitation.
  • Bo-Katan style: print at 105%The module fits the Chamanleon FX Bo-Katan gauntlet at 105% scale.

Known variation: a 100% Chamanleon FX is roughly the same size as a 95% Great Ape or Galactic Armory — worth factoring in when comparing scales across designers. See the model comparison ›

Convention & event use

Con safe by construction

Nothing is launched, thrown, or propelled. The darts extend and retract on a servo-driven gearbox and stay attached to it — the “firing” you see is light, sound, and the servo pulling the row back in.

  • No springs. Nothing in the module stores mechanical energy.
  • Nothing leaves the gauntlet. The rows are driven out and back, and stay on the gearbox.
  • No metal points. The dart tips are resin or printed plastic, bonded to the LED housings — some carry a metallic finish, but it is cosmetic only.
  • Inert on demand. Set Firing Mode to Off and it will not fire — so you can show a checker rather than explain.

Events set their own rules and the event always decides. Some restrict props that resemble a weapon however they work, and some restrict lithium batteries. Check your event’s policy before you travel.

Questions

Before you commit

Asked & answered

01Is this a physical product or digital files?

Both, depending on your path. The assembled kit is a physical, assembled, tested unit shipped to your door. Build it yourself starts as digital files (STLs, firmware, illustrated guide) with optional physical add-ons — electronics kit, soldered harness, printed parts, and beskar tips.

02Do I need a 3D printer?

Only on the DIY path, and only if you skip the printed parts +$25 add-on. Choose it and the full printed part set ships with your order. The assembled kit needs no printing at all.

03What skill level does the build take?

The illustrated guide assumes no prop-making experience — if you can follow a LEGO Technic manual, you can build this. Basic soldering is the one real skill involved; choose the soldered harness add-on and even that disappears.

04Is the battery included?

Only with the assembled kits — they ship with the recommended battery. The electronics kit doesn’t include one: run the module from any USB-C power pack, or fit your own LiPo. The guide lists the exact battery requirements.

05How long does the battery last?

On the recommended 500 mAh battery, 6–8 hours of continuous arming, disarming, and firing — blue runs longest, white the shortest. Mostly walking around armed? Longer. Arming just for photos? Longer still.

06Do I need to scale it for my gauntlet?

The module is a universal fit: print it at 100% — one size fits most. It has been successfully installed in Chamanleon FX, Galactic Armory, and Great Ape gauntlets printed at 100% or larger. A gauntlet scaled below 100% is too small. The universal fit comes from sizing and shaping the fiber optics to align with the nozzle holes — gentle heat is all it takes: a hot cup of water or a hair dryer. Care must be taken when shaping the fiber optics, as too much heat can permanently damage them.

07How long until it ships?

Digital files arrive instantly. Physical kits are made to order and ship in 2–4 weeks. Pro Installation takes 2–3 weeks from the day your gauntlet reaches our bench.
