Builders love it

★★★★★
The parts are well made, the body is all set up except for setting up the whistling bird LEDS. This is due to possible variations in gauntlet designs. Still don't have mine all together but the directions are good.

Will it fit my gauntlet?

The module needs a clear interior opening of 100 × 33 mm in the left gauntlet. Check before ordering — the sizing chart on the product page shows exactly what to measure.

  • Designed for: Chamanleon FX gauntlets (printed at 100%). Nozzle alignment guides for Galactic Armory and Great Ape gauntlets are included in the files.
  • Not compatible: Bo-Katan style gauntlets.
  • Module parts print at 100% — no scaling needed. The fiber optics flex and can be heat-molded to align with your gauntlet's nozzle holes.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a physical product or digital files?

It depends on the build path you choose. Make it from scratch is an instant digital download — STL files, firmware, and the build guide. Every other path ships physical hardware to you, and the assembled options arrive as a fully built, tested module.

Do I need a 3D printer?

Only if you want to print your own parts. Add the pre-printed parts option (printed in PETG for durability and heat tolerance) or choose an assembled path, and no printer is required.

What skill level do I need?

The Raw Electronics Kit expects basic electronics and soldering experience. The pre-built wiring harness removes all soldering. The assembled module just needs mounting in your gauntlet and trimming the fiber optics — and with Pro Installation, you ship us your gauntlet and glue one magnet when it comes back.

Does the kit come with a battery?

No, the kit does not ship with a battery. You can use a LiPo battery, or a USB-C power pack.

It is recommended to get one from Adafruit since their polarity matches the board. Some third-party batteries reverse the wiring, which can damage the controller.

The internal battery chamber was designed to hold a 500mAh LiPo battery. Larger sizes can be installed by removing the walls of the battery cover.

How long does the battery last?

Battery life depends on usage but a 500mAh typically lasts 4-6 hours with moderate activity.

Do I need to scale the models to fit my gauntlet?

No. The models in the kit are not designed to be scaled, and need to be printed at 100%. The kit is designed using fiber optics which can flex or be molded with heat to align with the nozzle holes.

How long until it ships?

Digital files are delivered instantly. Physical kits and assembled modules are made to order and ship in 2–4 weeks. Pro Installation takes about 2–3 weeks from when we receive your gauntlet — inbound shipping is at your cost, and return shipping is calculated at checkout. All shipments are insured.

Not ready for the full module?

Start with a piece of it. Beskar dart tips ($25, resin with Alumaluster finish) drop into any fiber-optic-ready gauntlet — or grab the digital files and build at your own pace.
