The kit is designed to fit into an existing gauntlet.

Will it fit my gauntlet?

It is designed for "universal fit" or more accurately: one size fits most

Required Opening: 100mm x 33mm or larger with 12x 4mm diameter holes in the nozzle.

The kit was designed for a Chamanleon FX Din Djarin gauntlet at 100% scale, It has also been tested successfully in the Galactic Armory and Great Ape Studio models.

It is not currently compatible with the Chamanleon FX Bo Katan models, but it is anticipated the plug-and-play version will be.

Is there a plug-and-play version available?

A plug-and-play version is in development, The goal is to reduce the size of the LED housing so that it can fit smaller gauntlets. The current design pushes the physical limits of the commercially available products used and 3d printing capabilities. The plug-and-play version will come with a completed wiring harness, and sizing the fiber optics is the only thing needed to fit the unit to your gauntlet.

Does it come with a battery?

No, the kit does not ship with a battery. You can use a LiPo battery, or a USB-C power pack.

It is recommend to get one from Adafruit since their polarity matches the board. Some third-party batteries reverse the wiring, which can damage the controller.

The internal battery chamber was designed to hold a 500mAh LiPo battery. Larger sizes can be installed by removing the walls of the battery cover.

How long does the battery last?

Battery life depends on usage but a 500mAh typically lasts 4-6 hours with moderate activity.
Do I need to scale the models in the kit to fit my gauntlet?

No. The models in the kit are not designed to be scaled, and need to be printed at 100%. The kit is designed using fiber optics which can flex or be molded with heat to align with the nozzle holes.
